Overview

This consultancy opportunity offers the chance to lead the data entry and coding of civic space incidents for the CIVICUS Monitor, a platform monitoring and reporting on civic space across 198 countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data entry and coding of civic space incidents based on published updates.
• Code qualitative information according to a data framework to analyze trends.
• Collaborate with regional research partners globally.
• Maintain electronic communication via email, instant messenger, and online call services.

Eligibility

• Pursuing or completed a minimum bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, human rights, social sciences, or related fields.
• Students are encouraged to apply.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge or experience in human rights research and monitoring.
