    Malaria Consortium is currently recruiting qualified candidates for the position below:

    📌 Job Title: Data Collector
    📍 Location: Osun State

    🎯 PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT

    The role supports a Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) evaluation using the Most Significant Change (MSC) methodology. The aim is to gather insights from caregivers, health workers, and community stakeholders to improve malaria prevention interventions and inform future scale-up strategies.

    📝 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Participate in training and study briefings
    • Conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs)
    • Translate and transcribe interviews daily
    • Submit accurate and timely transcripts
    • Support qualitative data collection across selected LGAs
    • Ensure proper documentation of observations and participant feedback

    📦 DELIVERABLES

    • Detailed reports for each FGD and KII
    • Transcripts and translated interview data
    • Observational notes and supporting documentation

    🎓 REQUIREMENTS

    • OND, HND, or B.Sc in Sociology, Public Health, Social Work, Anthropology, or related field
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in qualitative data collection (FGDs, KIIs, etc.)
    • Strong attention to detail in note-taking and transcription
    • Basic computer literacy (smartphones/tablets)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Fluency in Yoruba (mandatory)
    • Must be resident in Osun State

    • Willingness to meet daily targets and report to supervisors
