Overview

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is offering a unique Digital, AI and Innovation Internship 2026, fully remote, for students and recent graduates to engage in global development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Research and develop innovative policies
Support the rollout of digital and AI initiatives
Work on data protection frameworks and governance policies
Analyze datasets and create dashboards
Help identify partners and draft proposals
Collaborate on the design of digital platforms and AI tools
Maintain knowledge platforms and produce research summaries
Track project milestones and improve operational processes

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a graduate program or in the final year of an undergraduate degree
Recently graduated (must start within one year of graduation)
Relevant experience or interest in digital innovation, AI, public policy, or development work is advantageous
Fluency in English
Strong attention to detail, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Comfort in fast-paced, multicultural environments
