Overview

The Al Qasimi Foundation is inviting ambitious and high-achieving PhD students to apply for its Doctoral Research Grants, aimed at undertaking policy-relevant research in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), particularly in Ras Al Khaimah.

Eligibility

• Current PhD student at an accredited university in good academic standing.
• Minimum TOEFL iBT score of 85 or IELTS score of 6.5 if English is not the first language.
• Completed all PhD coursework and be ready to conduct the field research phase.
• Research proposal approved (or in the process) by the applicant’s advisor and graduate program.
• Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval for the research.
• Research site includes Ras Al Khaimah or the UAE.
• No research in areas like business, marketing, engineering, IT, medical degrees.

• Full funding for doctoral dissertation research, covering field research expenses, airfare, accommodation, living stipend, and research support.
