    1. Senior Accountant – Grants and International Accounts

    Job Summary

    Job Title: Senior Accountant – Grants and International Accounts
    Location: Remote
    Closing Date: Open Until Filled
    Contract Type: Full-Time

    Global Impact seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to support domestic and international grant-making clients. The role is primarily responsible for collecting, reconciling, and summarizing accounting information, entering financial data into multiple accounting systems, and generating comprehensive financial reports.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in foreign currency exchange calculations and international nonprofit financial reporting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and budget variance reports
    • Perform all foreign exchange conversions for assigned international clients
    • Create and monitor annual grant budgets
    • Maintain accounts payable and receivable functions

    • Manage general ledger entries and reconciliations
    • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journal entries
    • Track and report on restricted and unrestricted grants
    • Support payroll management for international entities in collaboration with in-country consultants

    • Assist with outgoing grant financial due diligence and reporting
    • Reconcile monthly credit card activity
    • Provide Board and advisory committee financial support

    • Assist in preparing IRS Form 990 and 1099 filings and support audit processes
    • Maintain vendor and sub-grantee contracts
    • Provide analytical support for budgets, projections, and grant proposals

    Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
    • Minimum 5+ years of public and nonprofit accounting experience

    • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
    • Proficiency in Excel, Office 365, QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite, Bill.com, and banking platforms
    • Experience with grant management and international nonprofit organizations preferred

    Salary & Benefits

    Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000

    2. Senior Accountant – Finance and Business Services

    Job Summary

    Job Title: Senior Accountant – Finance and Business Services
    Location: Remote

    Contract Type: Full-Time

    Global Impact is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and grant tracking for international and domestic nonprofit clients. The position plays a central role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
    • Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries
    • Develop annual budgets and ad hoc financial reports

    • Review and monitor accounts payable and receivable
    • Conduct vendor due diligence and manage contracting
    • Track restricted grants and produce monthly Budget vs. Actual reports

    • Serve as primary financial contact for clients
    • Prepare 990 filings and support audit processes
    • Coordinate with internal departments including IT and HR/Payroll

    Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
    • 4+ years of public and nonprofit accounting experience
    • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
    • Strong knowledge of Excel, Office 365, QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite, Bill.com, and banking platforms
    • Experience with grant tracking and international nonprofit accounting preferred

    Salary & Benefits

    Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000**

    3. Accounting Manager – Finance and Business Services

    Job Summary

    Job Title: Accounting Manager – Finance and Business Services
    Location: Remote (United States)

    Contract Type: Full-Time

    The Accounting Manager leads accounting and finance functions within the Finance & Business Services Department. The role oversees fiscal sponsor and agency client deliverables, ensures regulatory compliance, and supervises Senior Accountants.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee internal controls and daily operations
    • Review and issue timely, accurate client deliverables
    • Manage client cash and investment accounts

    • Develop and monitor annual budgets and cash forecasts
    • Lead audit and tax processes
    • Supervise and mentor Senior Accountants
    • Manage client stakeholder relationships including legal, banking, and board representatives

    Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
    • 8–10 years of progressive nonprofit accounting experience
    • Strong knowledge of donor grant agreements and restricted grant accounting
    • Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite
    • Advanced Excel skills

    Salary & Benefits

    Salary Range: $105,000 – $120,000**

    4. Director – Finance & Business Services

    Job Summary

    Job Title: Director – Finance & Business Services
    Location: Remote (United States)

    Contract Type: Full-Time

    The Director of Finance & Business Services oversees executive leadership tasks related to fiscal sponsorship, financial systems management, compliance, and business development. The Director serves as backup to the Managing Director and plays a strategic leadership role across the department.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support annual budget development and forecasting
    • Oversee audits and IRS Form 990 reporting
    • Implement financial software platforms
    • Supervise Accounting Managers
    • Lead onboarding of new fiscal sponsor clients
    • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams
    • Support business development and proposal review
    • Collaborate with HR on recruitment and onboarding

    Candidate Profile

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
    • 8–10 years of progressive accounting and leadership experience
    • Strong nonprofit management background
    • Demonstrated project and client management expertise
    • Advanced accounting systems and Excel proficiency

    Salary & Benefits

    Salary Range: $140,000 – $150,000**
