Overview

John Snow Inc. (JSI) is seeking an ACSM Advisor (Consultant) to provide technical leadership for Advocacy, Communication, and Social Mobilization (ACSM) activities for the Routine Immunization Project in Abuja, Nigeria. This is a 5-month consultancy position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of ACSM activities across project states.
• Provide technical support to State ACSM Consultants.
• Engage stakeholders at national, state, and community levels to improve vaccination uptake.
• Participate in technical working groups and advocacy meetings.
• Document lessons learned, success stories, and community feedback.
• Maintain relationships with community leaders, partners, and stakeholders.
• Represent JSI in relevant meetings and technical forums.

Requirements

• Degree in Public Health, Behavioural Science, Psychology, Communications, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience designing and implementing ACSM programs for immunization or health interventions.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working with traditional and social media for public health advocacy.
• Knowledge of local languages in focus states is an added advantage.
