Overview
WINGS is hiring a Policy and Advocacy Coordinator to join their global team. This fully remote role supports the development of evidence-based policy recommendations, monitors policy trends, and facilitates advocacy efforts within the WINGS network.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and execution of WINGS’ policy and advocacy strategies.
- Monitor and analyze emerging policy and regulatory trends affecting philanthropy, development finance, and civil society.
- Convert research findings into actionable policy insights and advocacy demands.
- Provide operational support to collective advocacy efforts, including managing working groups and consultations.
- Identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers and multilateral organizations.
- Support WINGS’ engagement in policy forums and high-level dialogues.
- Assist in the development and delivery of capacity-building initiatives for members.
- Manage and coordinate the dissemination of research outputs and policy briefs.
- Translate technical policy concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences.
- Record and evaluate advocacy activities, documenting lessons learned and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in government, economics, international relations, international development, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 6-9 years of relevant experience in fiscal public policy, development finance, philanthropy, or civil society policy.
- Proven track record of researching, monitoring, and analyzing policy developments.
- Experience working with civil society, philanthropy, donor agencies, or development cooperation initiatives.
- Familiarity with global policy frameworks and regulatory environments affecting philanthropy and civil society.
- Experience in multistakeholder collaborations and financing for development.
- Strong analytical, research, and synthesis skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, international team.

Benefits
Salary Range: USD 30,000 – USD 40,000 annually, aligned with global compensation frameworks.
