Overview

The African Early Career Legal Scholars’ Network has launched a call for applications for the 2026 programme, designed to support early career African legal scholars in developing high-quality, policy-relevant research.

Eligibility

• Doctoral candidates nearing completion
• Postdoctoral researchers who obtained their PhD after 1 January 2021

How to Apply

Applicants are required to submit a motivation letter (maximum 500 words) outlining their interest and research focus, along with an optional working paper aligned with the programme themes. Applications will be evaluated by an independent selection committee.
