    Overview

    The UNEP/UNESCO/BMUKN International Postgraduate Course on Environmental Management for Developing Countries (EM50) is a six-month fellowship program designed to strengthen global environmental leadership and equip professionals with skills to implement sustainable development strategies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct an individual research project related to environmental management.
    • Write a scientific paper and present findings at the end of the course.
    • Develop a Post-Training Action Plan for applying acquired knowledge in their home country.

    Requirements

    • Experience working in environmental and sustainability fields.
    • Government officials, public administrators, researchers, academics, NGO professionals, or private sector experts in sustainable development.
    • Must be from a developing country or emerging economy and currently working in environmental management or sustainability.
    • Several years of professional experience.
    • A first university degree (BA or BSc).
    • Strong English communication skills.
    • Formal nomination from their institution.
