The FAO Evaluation Specialist opportunity offers experienced professionals a chance to contribute to global development by supporting evidence-based decision-making in food security, agriculture, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Support evaluations across global, regional, and country levels in areas such as agriculture and climate change.
Lead evaluations and manage projects, providing technical and analytical support.
Contribute to impactful global initiatives and strengthen expertise in data analysis and evaluation design.
Work on high-level international evaluations in collaboration with various stakeholders.

Requirements

Advanced university degree in economics, public policy, statistics, data science, sociology, or related fields.
At least five years of relevant professional experience for consultant roles; three years for PSA applicants.
Strong analytical skills and experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research methods.
Working knowledge of English and proficiency in another FAO language (French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian).
