Overview
The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) is hiring a Research Analyst for a full-time, on-site role in Abuja, Nigeria. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about public policy, governance reform, and improving Nigeria’s business environment through research and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality research, collect and analyze data, and prepare policy briefs to support policy reforms and regulatory improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to reports that inform government decision-making.
- Work closely with technical teams, government stakeholders, and reform partners.
- Assess the impact of business environment reforms and track progress across key indicators.
- Provide insights to support the implementation of national reform priorities.
- Synthesize research findings into clear written outputs, including memos, presentations, and knowledge products.
Requirements
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Interest in economic reform, governance, private sector development, and public sector performance improvement.
- Relevant academic background or professional experience in economics, public policy, development studies, political science, statistics, or related fields.
