Overview
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Collection and Communication Intern to support its global digital partnership initiatives. This remote internship offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to contribute to high-impact Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) campaigns in collaboration with Samsung.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the Generation17 cohort call for applications, including developing forms, collecting and filtering data, and organizing submissions.
- Create English communication content and provide translations when needed.
- Develop professional PowerPoint presentations and structured Excel sheets.
- Support the Monthly Opportunities Digest for young leaders.
- Identify engagement opportunities for Generation17 participants.
- Update website content related to Generation17.
- Collect videos, blogs, and stories from UNDP regional channels.
- Update facts and figures for the Samsung Global Goals App (2026 update).
- Develop social media copy and visual assets for #Generation17 and Samsung Global Goals App campaigns.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong digital media and social media content skills.
- Ability to create persuasive online communication materials.
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational abilities.
- Advanced written communication skills.
- Fluency in English (required); Spanish and/or French (preferred).
- Enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s or higher), OR enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree, OR graduated within the past year.
- Internship directly supports global initiatives like Generation17 and the Samsung Global Goals App.
