📢 CALL FOR FEMALE INTERNS – NEYIF 2ND COHORT 2026

The North-East Youth Initiative for Development (NEYIF) is a national non-profit humanitarian and development organization established in 2013, with headquarters in Damaturu, Yobe State. NEYIF operates across North-East and North-West Nigeria, focusing on peacebuilding, community development, empowerment, and humanitarian support.

Applications are now open for the 2nd Cohort Female Internship Programme 2026, aimed at empowering young women with practical experience in the development sector.

🎯 PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This internship is designed to provide young female graduates with hands-on experience in humanitarian and development work. Participants will gain exposure to real community challenges while contributing to impactful projects across sectors such as education, health, WASH, protection, livelihoods, governance, and peacebuilding.

🎓 ELIGIBILITY / QUALIFICATIONS

• Female graduates (B.Sc / HND or equivalent in any discipline)
• Passion for humanitarian and development work
• Strong interest in community service and grassroots engagement
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and work in field/community settings
• Must be resident in North-East or North-West Nigeria (preferred)
