    What Is the Africa‑Europe Joint Transition Programme?

    The Africa‑Europe Joint Transition Programme is a youth‑centred, online collaboration initiative that brings together young leaders from Africa and Europe to research and co‑create solutions on energy transition and sustainability. Participants work in cross‑continental pairs, combining perspectives, expertise, and creativity to tackle climate and energy‑related topics.

    This programme seeks to:

    • Encourage mutual learning and cross‑regional understanding of energy transition challenges.
