    ROLE OVERVIEW

    The Field Research & Data Gathering Officer will be responsible for conducting structured research activities across selected educational institutions. The role involves collecting accurate and reliable data from schools, engaging with key stakeholders, and ensuring that all research outputs meet high-quality standards.

    Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting data-driven insights within the education sector and contributing to impactful research outcomes.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conduct field research across assigned schools and educational institutions
    • Gather accurate data using both digital tools and physical methods
    • Engage school administrators, teachers, and decision-makers through interviews and structured discussions
    • Ensure proper documentation and organization of collected data
    • Maintain professionalism and build strong relationships with stakeholders
    • Adhere to assigned timelines and reporting structures
    • Ensure quality control and verification of all collected information

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Background or experience in the education sector (teaching, school administration, or education research)
    • Strong communication and interview skills
    • Must be a resident of the selected state/location
    • Fluency in English and at least one relevant local language
    • Good understanding of the regional school landscape

    Field officers will work across a diverse range of educational institutions, including:

    • Category A: Elite/private schools
    • Category B: Mid-market schools
    • Category C: Emerging or resource-limited schools

    Additionally, the research will include a balance of:

    • Secondary schools
    • Tertiary institutions (universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education)

    Assignments will ensure geographical spread across each selected state to provide comprehensive and representative data.
