Overview

Pwani University, in collaboration with the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) and the KAVI Institute for Clinical Research, is offering seven fully funded MSc Bioinformatics studentships.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the admission requirements for the MSc Bioinformatics at Pwani University. The programme is open to graduates with a Bachelor of Science degree in:

• Biochemistry
• Biotechnology
• Biological Sciences
• Molecular Biology
• Computer Science
• Or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution

Candidates should have achieved Second Class Honours Upper Division in their undergraduate studies and at least a B+ or equivalent in KCSE/O-level or senior secondary school examinations. Non-classified degrees require institutionally approved average scores or GPA.
