    Overview

    This program offers a fully funded PhD position in Parenting in Times of Uncertainty at the University of Amsterdam, Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, as part of the ERC-funded PARENTALHOPE project. The research explores how hope shapes parenting decisions in uncertain environments.

    Eligibility

    Applicants should have:

    • A master’s degree in psychology (developmental, social, family psychology), pedagogy, or a related field.
    • Strong quantitative research and analytical skills.
    • Interest in parenting behaviour and theory-driven research.
    • Scientific writing experience.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in research teams.
