GL Accountant @Persona

Overview

The role of GL Accountant at Persona involves supporting the company's financial reporting, tax compliance, and balance sheet integrity as part of a global finance team. Persona is a configurable identity platform catering to businesses in a digital-first world.

Key Responsibilities

• Support global tax compliance efforts, coordinating with external tax advisors on income tax and statutory filings.
• Prepare and maintain tax-related balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
• Own and maintain general ledger accounting in NetSuite across multiple international legal entities.
• Partner with Payroll and People Ops for accurate accounting for global payroll and benefits.
• Manage balance sheet accounts for international subsidiaries.
• Execute and support the monthly close process in NetSuite, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Support multi-currency accounting in accordance with US GAAP.

Requirements

• 4+ years of accounting or audit experience, ideally within SaaS environments.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience with ASC 740.
• Experience with US federal/state taxes and exposure to international tax frameworks.
• Proficient in NetSuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Highly detail-oriented with analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
