The Global Alliance for Communities has announced the opening of its 2026 Catalytic Unrestricted Grant, a funding opportunity aimed at strengthening community-led development initiatives across Kenya. The programme is designed to support grassroots organisations working on innovative, sustainable, and locally driven solutions with a strong emphasis on women and girls’ empowerment.
Supported by a philanthropic donor, the initiative will award one eligible member organisation an unrestricted grant of USD 25,000 to enhance organisational sustainability and expand community impact between July and December 2026.
The Catalytic Unrestricted Grant is structured to provide flexible funding that enables organisations to allocate resources according to their most urgent needs and strategic priorities.
