Overview

The Migration and Youth Platform (MYCP) Global Coordinator role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead global advocacy in migration, youth leadership, and international policy engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for the MYCP Secretariat.
Oversee daily operations of the MYCP Secretariat.
Supervise project leads and support them in achieving their objectives.
Serve as the primary representative of MYCP in engagements with UN agencies, global partners, donors and stakeholders.
Identify and pursue funding opportunities.
Liaise with the MYCP Board and prepare reports for governance processes.
Oversee recruitment and engagement of volunteers.
Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with donor and governance reporting requirements.
Strengthen coherence across MYCP programs and ensure activities align with long-term goals.

Requirements

Strong understanding of global migration governance, including Global Compact for Migration (GCM) and Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD).
Proven experience in team management, project coordination, and multi-stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Proficiency in digital collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
Ability to work independently across multiple time zones.
