Overview

This program offers young African entrepreneurs the opportunity to gain funding, mentorship, recognition, and continental exposure through the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition 2026. With a total prize pool of $160,000, the competition supports scalable, impact-driven food and agribusiness ventures led by individuals aged 18 to 35.

Eligibility

Aged between 18 and 35 years old.
Must hold nationality from an African Union member state and possess official identification proving nationality.
The venture must be headquartered in an African Union member state.
Must be legally registered in an AU member state or will be officially registered by June 28, 2026.
Must be the founder or co-founder of the business and play an active leadership role.
No criminal record involving corruption, tax evasion, financial misconduct, or felony offences.

Benefits

A total prize pool of $160,000, including:
- $50,000 for one male-led agribusiness.
- $50,000 for one female-led agribusiness.
- Additional $60,000 in impact awards, with $15,000 each for categories like Technology & Innovation, Nutrition & Food Security, Job Creation, Climate Resilience, and Gender Equity.
Access to mentorship from food systems experts and agribusiness professionals.
National and international visibility through media coverage and networking opportunities.
Training sessions focused on pitching, investor engagement, and communication skills.
