    Overview

    The Black in Business initiative by Goldman Sachs is a transformative business education program designed to empower sole proprietors with the tools, knowledge, and network needed to scale their businesses sustainably. This program is part of the broader One Million Black Women initiative, focusing on fostering entrepreneurship and long-term financial success within underserved communities.

    Eligibility

    The program is open to sole proprietors who are committed to growing their businesses and contributing to economic development in their communities.

    • Operate as a sole proprietor (no full-time employees)
    • Have generated at least $25,000 in revenue over the past 12 months
    • Run an active, revenue-generating business
    • Have been in operation for at least one year
