This grant cycle offers funding for organizations addressing housing justice in the Greater Washington region, focusing on economic equity.

Eligibility

Organizations can apply if they meet the following criteria:

Annual organizational budget must be $750,000 or less.
Primarily serve communities in the Greater Washington region or apply for funds to do so, including Washington, DC, Prince George’s County (MD), Montgomery County (MD), and Northern Virginia.
Work with historically under-resourced communities to build wealth or financial security.
Must have been operating for at least one year.

Benefits

Applicants will receive funding through trust-based philanthropy, which includes:

General operating support (no program restrictions)
No reporting requirements for grantees
Multi-year funding with a small follow-up grant the year after initial funding
Optional six-month capacity-building training through Spur Local
