Head of Advocacy @AMPLIFY Girls

Overview

AMPLIFY Girls is seeking a Head of Advocacy to lead their efforts in empowering adolescent girls by strengthening community-driven organizations (CDOs) and driving systemic change across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AMPLIFY Girls’ advocacy strategy.
• Represent AMPLIFY Girls in high-level advocacy forums and policy discussions.
• Lead evidence-based policy development and conduct research to inform advocacy campaigns.
• Design and implement scalable systems change initiatives to address barriers to girls’ agency.
• Build relationships with governments, donors, civil society, and the private sector.
• Lead the development and implementation of impactful advocacy campaigns and movement-building strategies.
• Strengthen network partners’ advocacy capacity and establish AMPLIFY Girls as a thought leader.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to direct reports and foster a collaborative team culture.
