Overview

This opportunity offers highly experienced climate finance and resilience experts the chance to join the Independent Expert Group (IEG) for the ARISE Program, aimed at supporting global climate adaptation efforts.

Eligibility

Applicants must have a Master’s degree or PhD in relevant fields like climate change, development economics, environmental science, or finance.
Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience, with proven work in climate resilience or development finance.
Experience in developing country contexts is highly preferred.
Prior experience with multilateral institutions or international organizations is a plus but not mandatory.

Benefits

Selected experts will be compensated according to World Bank consultant procurement rules, ensuring competitive international rates.
