    Overview

    The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, in partnership with the African Vaccine Manufacturing Initiative, has launched the second cohort of its Industrial Fellowship Programme in Vaccine Manufacturing. This initiative is designed to strengthen Africa’s vaccine production capacity by developing a skilled workforce aligned with the continent’s long-term health security goals.

    Eligibility

    The programme targets recent graduates in scientific and technical fields relevant to vaccine manufacturing.

    • Graduates (Bachelor’s or Master’s) within the last 3 years
    • Citizens of an African Union Member State
    • Possess a valid passport
    • Available to relocate for the fellowship duration
    • Proficient in English or French
    • Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
    • Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
    • Chemistry and Biochemistry
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Biomanufacturing / Vaccine Manufacturing
