Overview

The 8th Intergenerational Retreat (IGR 8) offers young African women leaders a fully sponsored leadership development programme aimed at strengthening women's leadership and fostering cross-generational collaboration.

Eligibility

Applications are encouraged from young African women aged 18 to 45 who demonstrate measurable contributions within their communities and are committed to advancing inclusive development. Eligible applicants must:

Be between 18 and 45 years old
Be from Africa or the African Diaspora
Demonstrate recognised or measurable impact within their community
Be innovators, advocates, entrepreneurs, professionals, or active contributors aligned with AWLN's six thematic pillars

Benefits

The fully funded programme includes:

Registration fees
International and local travel
Accommodation throughout the retreat
Participation in all official programme activities
