Model OIC Nigeria is inviting applications from qualified and passionate individuals to join its Interim National Operations Team (2026). The organization is seeking competent and impact-driven young leaders who are ready to actively contribute to its rebuilding, coordination, expansion, and long-term institutional growth across campuses nationwide.

This opportunity goes beyond a traditional volunteer role. It is a platform designed to foster leadership, diplomacy, service, organizational development, and national impact. About the Programme

The Model OIC Programme is an initiative of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), established under the Joint Youth Action Plan adopted during the 3rd Session of the Islamic Conference of Youth and Sports Ministers held in Istanbul, Türkiye, in October 2016. The initiative was subsequently approved during the 43rd Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Model OIC Nigeria operates within this international framework, with a core objective of promoting youth leadership, diplomacy, policy engagement, and strategic dialogue among young people across Nigerian institutions and beyond.

Role of the Interim National Operations Team

As part of the organization’s restructuring and expansion strategy, selected individuals will support national coordination efforts in the following areas:

• Strengthening campus engagement and communication channels
• Expanding Model OIC Clubs across universities and tertiary institutions
• Supporting programmes, diplomacy simulations, and strategic initiatives
• Enhancing organizational visibility and institutional development
• Building a functional, sustainable, and impactful national structure

Important Notice

All positions within the Interim National Operations Team are strictly voluntary. They are designed for individuals who are motivated by leadership development, service, learning, and long-term impact rather than financial compensation.
