Overview

This consultancy offers the opportunity to support Nigeria’s education sector reform and enhance digital education management systems. It is a 12-month remote engagement with regular visits to Abuja, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the national education data project and organize planning meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide technical oversight on data systems and guide their integration into government operations.
• Assist with updating training resources and support development of user support tools.
• Assess training needs and coordinate capacity building workshops for education officers.
• Contribute to policy briefs and evaluate the effectiveness of the education data system.

Requirements

• An advanced degree in education, social sciences, or a related field.
• At least eight years of experience with national education management systems.
• Five years in education data capacity building.
• Expertise in digital platform development.
• Strong analytical skills and previous experience with UNICEF or similar organizations.
• Experience working in Nigeria or Africa and fluency in English.
