Opportunity 1: Internship in International Cooperation & Event Management
Overview
IDOS is seeking a highly motivated intern for a 3-month full-time internship starting on 1 September 2026. This role focuses on programme coordination, participant support, and communication activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting international participants throughout their stay in Bonn
- Coordinating arrivals, departures, and logistics for study trips
- Assisting in organizing and implementing training sessions
- Contributing to social media and communication strategies
- Producing and editing visual content (photo/video using DSLR)
- Preparing reports, training materials, and Excel analyses
- Supporting administrative and project management tasks
Candidate Profile
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (any field)
- Have initial experience in event management or communications
- Demonstrate interest in international relations and global cooperation
- Possess strong German and English language skills
- Be comfortable with MS Office and digital collaboration tools
- Show strong organizational, creative, and intercultural skills
- Be willing to work on-site in Bonn

Opportunity 2: MGG Academy Tutor Role (Student Assistant / Freelancer)
Overview
IDOS is also recruiting a Tutor to assist participants throughout the MGG Academy programme, focusing on participant assistance, logistics, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome participants upon arrival and assist with accommodation
- Provide orientation support (city navigation, SIM cards, etc.)
- Assist with administrative procedures (registration, bank accounts)
- Offer weekly office hours at IDOS
- Support participants with daily life tasks (appointments, logistics)
- Act as an emergency contact (including evenings/weekends)
- Assist with departure and closing logistics
Candidate Profile
- Be enrolled students or self-employed (freelancer under small business regulation)
- Have excellent German and English skills (C1–C2 level)
- Possess strong intercultural and communication skills
- Be familiar with Bonn and its infrastructure
- Have experience supporting groups or communities
- Demonstrate flexibility and strong organizational abilities
- Show interest in international relations and development cooperation
Compensation
- €14/hour (Bachelor students)
- €15/hour (Master students)
