Overview

Applications are now open for the 2027 International Trainee Observership Programme organised by the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (ASTCT). This competitive programme offers a unique opportunity for an international trainee from a low-income or lower-middle-income country to gain hands-on observational exposure in the field of hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and related cellular therapies.

Eligibility

Hold a medical degree (MD, MBBS, DO or equivalent)
Be a citizen and practising clinician in a low-income or lower-middle-income country (as classified by the World Bank)
Be a trainee or junior faculty within five years of completing terminal training
Be currently employed at a medical institution
Have completed or be enrolled in training in:
- Hematology
- Oncology
- Immunology
- or Transplantation medicine
