    Overview

    This internship program offers students and young professionals the chance to gain practical diplomatic experience at the heart of global policymaking. Interns work directly with Estonian diplomats at the UN headquarters, contributing to discussions on climate policy, human rights, peace and security, and other vital areas.

    Eligibility

    • Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
    • Demonstrate strong analytical and research skills.
    • Show commitment to multilateral cooperation and international diplomacy.
    • Possess creativity and problem-solving abilities.
    • Have an open-minded, curious, and positive attitude.
    • Fluent in English; knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
    • Eligible for and able to maintain security clearance by Estonian authorities.
