Overview
The German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) is inviting applications for an exciting three-month internship in international cooperation and event management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and guide international participants throughout their stay, including arrivals, departures, and study trips (e.g., to Brussels).
- Assist in organising and delivering training sessions and workshops.
- Contribute to social media strategy and communications planning.
- Capture and edit photo and video content using DSLR cameras.
- Prepare training materials, evaluations, and reports (including Excel-based analysis).
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the project team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme (any field).
- Initial experience in event management, communications, or public relations.
- Interest in international politics, sustainability, and global cooperation.
- Strong German and English language skills (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with MS Office tools; knowledge of digital collaboration tools is a plus.
- Experience in photo/video editing is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and intercultural skills.
