The IPS Africa Scholarship Programme 2027, offered by the German Bundestag, is a prestigious opportunity for young African graduates interested in politics, governance, and democratic leadership.

Eligibility

• Open to applicants from selected countries across sub-Saharan Africa:
• Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa
• Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda
• Ghana, Nigeria, and Senegal
• Be a citizen of one of the participating countries
• Be under the age of 30 by January 1, 2027
• Hold a university degree
• Demonstrate a strong interest in politics and social engagement
• Have a good command of German (minimum B2 level)
