    Overview

    This program offers a part-time opportunity as a Lived Experience Campaigns Officer at the International Association for Suicide Prevention, focused on embedding perspectives of individuals with lived experience of suicide across organizational activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Champion the inclusion of lived and living experience perspectives across IASP’s operations and programs.
    • Advise on safe and meaningful involvement of individuals with lived experience.
    • Develop guidance and tools to support lived experience integration.
    • Build and maintain relationships with global lived experience networks.
    • Support policy and advocacy work on various issues.
    • Contribute lived experience perspectives to campaigns and materials.
    • Manage IASP’s social media channels and create engaging content.
    • Foster safe messaging around suicide prevention.

    Requirements

    • Lived or living experience related to suicidality or mental health challenges.
    • Understanding of mental health, NGO sector, policy, and advocacy.
    • Experience in partnership building.
    • Proficiency in digital tools and communication platforms.
    • Excellent command of English.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Commitment to ethical practice and safe messaging on suicide.
