    Overview

    Queen Mary University of London is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) position within its Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This full-time, fixed-term role is part of the ESRC-funded “Right Worlds” project and is expected to begin on 1 September 2026.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conducting original research aligned with the project’s themes.
    • Collaborating closely with the principal investigators.
    • Supporting the organization of workshops, conferences, and fieldwork.
    • Contributing to academic publications and reports.
    • Developing independent research outputs related to the project.

    Requirements

    • Strong academic background in International Relations, Political Science, Political Sociology, or a closely related discipline.
    • Clear research interest in right-wing political thought or international politics.
    • Strong analytical and writing skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
    • Experience or willingness to engage in interdisciplinary research.
