The Kwame Karikari Fact-checking and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Fellowship 2026 is a prestigious capacity-building programme designed to equip journalists with advanced skills in fact-checking and information verification.
Eligibility
- Full-time journalists based in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, or The Gambia
- Experience in fact-checking or investigative journalism
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Commitment to combating misinformation
- Support from their media organization to publish fact-checks
- Availability for the three-month programme
- Former fellows of the programme and female journalists or persons with disabilities (PWDs) are encouraged to apply
- Journalists specializing in climate and conflict reporting are also welcome
