Overview

The 2026 LeadNext: Ambassadors for a Global Future Fellowship is a prestige leadership program designed for young changemakers seeking to tackle global challenges through leadership training, mentorship, and international exposure.

Eligibility

Must be aged 18–25 at the start of the program.
Must be fully proficient in English.
Must commit to all virtual sessions and the full duration of the in-person summit.
U.S. citizens or permanent residents can apply from the U.S.; applicants from the Asia-Pacific region must be from eligible countries where The Asia Foundation operates and should be able to obtain a U.S. visa.
Special conditions apply for applicants from Myanmar, Afghanistan, and Laos—they must already be based in the U.S.
