    About the Programmes Coordinator Role

    The Programmes Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of the MFAP Project and other assigned programmes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Programme Coordinator, Programme Managers, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) teams, Finance teams, Partnerships teams, and other internal stakeholders.

    The role requires an individual who is passionate about youth development, social impact, programme implementation, and stakeholder engagement. The coordinator will be responsible for supporting programme planning, managing deliverables, coordinating partnerships, monitoring implementation activities, documenting lessons learned, and ensuring continuous programme improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Partnership Development and Resource Mobilization

    The Programmes Coordinator will:

    3. Strategy Execution

    The successful candidate will:

    • Support the implementation of programme strategies.

    4. Budget and Financial Management

    Key duties include:

    • Supporting programme budgeting processes.

    5. Regional Coordination

    The Programmes Coordinator will:

    • Coordinate assigned regions under the MFAP Project.

    6. Proposal Development and Fundraising Support

    Responsibilities include:

    • Developing concept notes and funding proposals.
    • Supporting fundraising initiatives.

    7. Reporting and Documentation

    The role requires:

    • Preparing periodic reports for funders and stakeholders.
    • Documenting programme outcomes and achievements.

    8. Training Facilitation

    The successful candidate will:

    • Facilitate training programmes and workshops.
    • Support learning sessions across Nigeria and Africa.

    9. Team Supervision and Collaboration

    Responsibilities include:

    • Providing support to team members assigned to projects.
    • Working closely with internal departments.

    Required Qualifications and Experience

    Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
    • Master’s Degree (MSc or MBA) will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of six years of relevant professional experience.
    • Proven experience in programme design and implementation.
    • Demonstrated curriculum development experience.
    • Fundraising and partnership development experience.
    • Experience leading teams and managing projects.
    • Strong report writing and presentation skills.
