Since 2016, lululemon has invested in community resilience by funding organizations that create inclusive access to wellbeing practices.

    In 2025, lululemon achieved its five‑year goal of investing $75 million USD, impacting over 10 million people worldwide. The company is now committing an additional $100 million to reach 20 million more people by 2030.

    The 2027 Community Wellbeing Grant continues this mission by offering financial support, optional wellbeing resources, and a collaborative community for organizations working to remove barriers to wellbeing.

    Grant Amount and Funding Structure

    Organizations may apply for up to $50,000 USD, with the following conditions:

    • The requested amount must not exceed 40% of the organization’s most recently completed fiscal year operating budget.
    • Grants are administered through lululemon’s Donor‑Advised Fund at Charities Aid Foundation America (CAFA).
    • Organizations operating in China Mainland will receive funding directly from lululemon China.
    • The grant is a one‑year program with optional wellbeing support offerings throughout the cycle.

    Lululemon’s Definition of Wellbeing

    Lululemon defines wellbeing as a lifetime practice of three interconnected elements:

    1. Physical Wellbeing – Feeling empowered to give the body what it needs for health and quality of life.
    2. Mental Wellbeing – Feeling emotionally prepared and able to handle the future.
    3. Social Wellbeing – Feeling connected, supported, and part of a larger community.

    Organizations must advance wellbeing through movement programming to qualify.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Organizations must meet all of the following:

    • Be a registered non‑profit or charity, or be fiscally sponsored by one.
    • Advance wellbeing by creating equitable access to movement programming.
    • Be community‑led and serve communities experiencing barriers to wellbeing.
    • Operate in one or more of the following countries: Australia, Canada, China Mainland, France, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Macau SAR, Malaysia, Mexico, Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UK, USA, Vietnam.
    • Have an annual budget under $3 million USD (priority consideration).

    Organizations NOT Eligible

    Lululemon does not fund:

    • Individuals, religious groups, or third‑party fundraisers
    • Political, legislative, or military‑related initiatives
    • Hospitals, clinics, or health services accepting direct payment
    • Schools, PTAs, libraries, museums, or academic institutions
    • Government entities, private foundations, or registered businesses
    • Organizations funded by lululemon for three consecutive years
    • Organizations with budgets over $10 million USD
    • Organizations with fewer than three board members
    • Organizations operating programming for less than one year

    Grant Funds Cannot Be Used For

    • One‑time events, retreats, workshops, or sponsorships
    • Regranting or scholarships
    • Lobbying or incentives for government officials
    • Benefits to lululemon or its employees
    • Real estate, endowments, or interest‑bearing accounts
    • Equipment or capital assets totaling $5,000 USD or more

    Timeline & Deadlines

    Registration Period

    June 1 – July 24, 2026 (5:00 PM PT)

    • Organizations must complete a registration form to verify eligibility.
    • Eligibility notifications are typically sent within 72 hours.
    • Registration after July 24 disqualifies organizations from applying.

    Application Period

    July 6 – July 31, 2026 (5:00 PM PT)

    • Only organizations invited after registration may apply.
    • Early submission is strongly recommended.

    Review Period

    August 4 – October 16, 2026

    • Applications reviewed by lululemon Gives and Grant Review Councils.
    • Evaluation focuses on operational alignment and community impact.

    Selection Period

    October 19, 2026

    • Applicants receive selection notifications.
    • Awards are conditional pending CAFA validation.
