The Embassy of France in Uganda has officially announced the opening of applications for its Master’s degree scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic cycle. The programme is aimed at supporting outstanding Ugandan graduates who wish to pursue postgraduate studies in France across a range of academic disciplines.
The scholarship is open to candidates who already hold a Bachelor’s degree and have secured or are in the process of securing admission into a French university for a Master’s programme delivered in either French or English.
The scholarship is designed to strengthen academic exchange and capacity building between Uganda and France by enabling talented students to access high-quality education in French higher education institutions.
Successful applicants will benefit from comprehensive financial and logistical support throughout their studies in France.

Preselected candidates are invited for further assessment.
Shortlisted applicants undergo an interview at the Embassy of France in Uganda.
Final selection decisions are based on academic performance, motivation, and alignment with the scholarship objectives.
