    Overview

    This program offers a fully funded training workshop for journalists from Anglophone West Africa, focusing on strengthening reporting skills related to Africa–China trade, investment, and political relations.

    Eligibility

    • Based in an eligible Anglophone West African country.
    • Work in print, radio, television, or digital journalism.
    • Report on relevant beats including Politics, Economy, Business, Trade, Development, Environment, Extractive Industries, Infrastructure, and International Affairs.
    • Available during September–October 2026.
    • Obtain a formal permission letter from their editor.
    • Capable of producing an in-depth story post-workshop.
