Overview

The Milestone Trial LawHER Scholarship is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 academic year, offering financial support to ambitious women pursuing careers as plaintiff trial lawyers.

The scholarship program will award one $25,000 scholarship and two additional $10,000 scholarships to outstanding law students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to advancing diversity in the legal profession.

Eligibility

Currently enrolled in a 2L or 3L law school program
Intend to become a plaintiff trial lawyer
Plan to attend an ABA-accredited law school full-time during the upcoming academic year
A U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Self-identify as female
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale

Please note that Milestone employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply.

Although the scholarship is non-renewable, eligible students may reapply in future application cycles.

Written Essay (approximately 1,500 words) addressing the topic: “How is legal technology empowering women trial lawyers to better represent the Bar, better represent their clients, and advance diversity in Law?”
