    Overview

    The University of Birmingham, in partnership with the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, is offering a prestigious fully funded scholarship for the MSc in Development Policy and Politics. This unique two-year programme combines academic excellence with practical experience, providing scholars with a one-year master’s degree followed by a fully integrated one-year internship.

    Eligibility

    • Must have a First-Class Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
    • Must be under 30 years old at the time of application.
    • Must be an African national domiciled or permanently resident in an African country.
    • Minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL score of 580 / 93.

    Benefits

    • Full tuition fees covered.
    • Return airfare to and from the United Kingdom.
    • Visa costs covered.
    • Monthly stipend of £1,592 for 18 months.
    • Arrival allowance of £1,082.
    • Funding provided for the final 6 months of internship by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation.
