About the NESG Non-Residential Fellowship Programme

Agro-Industrial Transformation and Food Systems

• Implementation of the National Livestock Master Plan (N-LMP).
• Agricultural productivity improvements.
• Food system resilience and sustainability.

Researchers in this area will contribute ideas aimed at improving agricultural development and strengthening national food security.

Eligibility Requirements

The NESG NRFP Cohort 3 is designed for experienced researchers and policy professionals with demonstrated expertise in their fields.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a PhD in sciences, social sciences, management sciences, or related disciplines with at least five years of research or development experience.
• Alternatively, hold a Master’s degree with at least eight years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrate strong written and spoken English proficiency.
• Possess excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Show commitment to evidence-based policy research and advocacy.
• Be able to dedicate 5–8 hours weekly to fellowship activities.
• Be residents of Nigeria at the time of application.
• Demonstrate willingness to contribute to programme outputs and activities.

Previous participants of the NESG Non-Residential Fellowship Programme are not eligible to apply.
