    Overview

    This position offers the opportunity to lead the Policy Monitoring and Evaluation Unit at OECD, overseeing the agricultural policy monitoring and evaluation report and managing a team of analysts.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide intellectual leadership on agricultural policy measurement and assessment.
    • Lead the production of the OECD Agricultural Policy Monitoring and Evaluation report and manage the related agricultural support database.
    • Oversee report drafting, collaborations, and improvements to analytical tools.
    • Liaise with internal OECD teams on agricultural policy indicators and discussions.
    • Lead consultations with delegations during report design and approval processes.
    • Promote the visibility and impact of the report and database through seminars, conferences, and outreach activities.
    • Supervise a team of analysts and statisticians.
    • Participate in division management, including work planning and performance reviews.
    • Manage contracts, hiring, and external consultants as needed.

    Requirements

    • Advanced degree in agricultural economics or related discipline; PhD preferred.
    • 8 to 10 years of policy analysis experience in government, research, or international organizations.
    • Strong background in quantitative analysis of agricultural policies.
    • Proven leadership skills in managing teams towards tangible outcomes.
    • Fluency in English and French; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
