Overview
This position offers the opportunity to lead the Policy Monitoring and Evaluation Unit at OECD, overseeing the agricultural policy monitoring and evaluation report and managing a team of analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide intellectual leadership on agricultural policy measurement and assessment.
- Lead the production of the OECD Agricultural Policy Monitoring and Evaluation report and manage the related agricultural support database.
- Oversee report drafting, collaborations, and improvements to analytical tools.
- Liaise with internal OECD teams on agricultural policy indicators and discussions.
- Lead consultations with delegations during report design and approval processes.
- Promote the visibility and impact of the report and database through seminars, conferences, and outreach activities.
- Supervise a team of analysts and statisticians.
- Participate in division management, including work planning and performance reviews.
- Manage contracts, hiring, and external consultants as needed.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in agricultural economics or related discipline; PhD preferred.
- 8 to 10 years of policy analysis experience in government, research, or international organizations.
- Strong background in quantitative analysis of agricultural policies.
- Proven leadership skills in managing teams towards tangible outcomes.
- Fluency in English and French; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
