Overview

This position offers the opportunity to lead the Policy Monitoring and Evaluation Unit at OECD, overseeing the agricultural policy monitoring and evaluation report and managing a team of analysts.

Key Responsibilities

Provide intellectual leadership on agricultural policy measurement and assessment.
Lead the production of the OECD Agricultural Policy Monitoring and Evaluation report and manage the related agricultural support database.
Oversee report drafting, collaborations, and improvements to analytical tools.
Liaise with internal OECD teams on agricultural policy indicators and discussions.
Lead consultations with delegations during report design and approval processes.
Promote the visibility and impact of the report and database through seminars, conferences, and outreach activities.
Supervise a team of analysts and statisticians.
Participate in division management, including work planning and performance reviews.
Manage contracts, hiring, and external consultants as needed.

Requirements

Advanced degree in agricultural economics or related discipline; PhD preferred.
8 to 10 years of policy analysis experience in government, research, or international organizations.
Strong background in quantitative analysis of agricultural policies.
Proven leadership skills in managing teams towards tangible outcomes.
Fluency in English and French; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
