Overview

The 2026 Peering Fellowship is now open for applications, offering a unique opportunity for Internet infrastructure professionals to strengthen their expertise, expand global networks, and contribute to building a more resilient and accessible Internet ecosystem.

Eligibility

Be based in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, or the Middle East
Have at least 3 years of experience in Internet infrastructure or related fields
Possess knowledge or involvement in routing, IXPs, peering, or Internet policy
Be able to commit 4–6 hours weekly throughout the program
Have reliable Internet access and necessary devices
Be available for sessions between 12:00 and 16:00 UTC
Demonstrate basic English communication skills
Not have participated in recent Internet Society fellowships (2024–present)
