Overview

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) offers an exciting postdoctoral research opportunity under the European Research Council (ERC) funded project titled Political Parties in Africa and Democracy (PPADEM). This position allows qualified emerging scholars to contribute to one of the largest empirical studies on political parties and democratic development in Africa.

Eligibility

Applicants must possess:

• A PhD in Political Science or a closely related social science discipline by the time of appointment.
• Demonstrated expertise in survey design.
• Strong skills in survey data analysis.
• Proven knowledge of comparative politics.
• Capacity to contribute to collaborative research projects.

The successful postdoctoral researcher cannot hold a full-time appointment at KNUST or any other public university during the fellowship period.
