Postgraduate Opportunities for Female Refugees @Windle Trust International (WTI)

Overview

Applications are now open for the James Aryam Scholarships 2026, a fully funded postgraduate scholarship program offered by Windle Trust International (WTI) for female refugees.

Eligibility

• Currently residing in Uganda or Kenya
• Originating from one of the following countries:
  • Sudan
  • South Sudan
  • Somalia
  • Somaliland

Benefits

• Full tuition fees
• A monthly maintenance stipend
• Relocation costs where applicable

How to Apply

• Review eligibility against the scholarship requirements.
• Submit applications to eligible universities for August 2026 intake. Proof of application is required.
• Complete the Windle Trust International scholarship application form, ensuring that evidence of university applications is uploaded.
• Attend interviews if shortlisted, which may take place in-country or online.
