Project Grants for Documentary Photographers ·Women Photograph

Overview

This opportunity offers three project grants worth $10,000 each to support documentary photography projects by women, nonbinary, transgender, and intersex visual journalists around the world.

Eligibility

The grants are open to documentary photographers from any country and nationality, including:

• Women photographers
• Nonbinary photographers
• Transgender photographers
• Intersex photographers

Applicants do not need to be members of Women Photograph to apply.

Benefits

Applicants will receive funding that can be used for:

• Reporting and travel expenses
• Project production costs
• Creative and professional fees
• Research and fieldwork
• Other direct expenses associated with the creation of documentary photography work

Recipients retain full ownership of all work produced through the funding and have complete intellectual property rights over their photography projects.

• No application fee is required
• Only one application per applicant is permitted
• Projects must be rooted in still photography

Links to multimedia or video components can be included, but must not distract from the main focus of documentary still photography.
